Minethurn Projects for Non-Profit Organizations:

The following list details a portion of the work Minethurn has performed for non-profit entities in the United States. Minethurn is committed to helping non-profit organizations enjoy the same high-level programming services as for-profit businesses.

Arts Organizations:

Dayton Visual Arts Center (DVAC)—Redesigned the DVAC website using the Drupal content management system. Upgraded the site’s capabilities to allow users to manage memberships, relations, contributions, etc. Advanced site features include member and non-member pages, member information sections, online membership payment options, event registration, contributions, and mass email distributions. Wrote a custom theme for the DVAC site in PHP. Interacted closely with DVAC staff to determine the requirements for web tools and how best to implement features. In addition, Minethurn maintains the DVAC computers and network to include upgrades. Ongoing two-year, pro bono project.

Antioch Review—Created a custom website using Wordpress, including a custom theme and online subscription options. Trained the staff in all areas of site operation and maintenance.

Other Non-Profits:

Yellow Springs Kids Playhouse—Created a custom themed website using Wordpress. Features include photo galleries, interactive media, online reservations, user forums, member and non-member sections. Trained staff on use and maintenance.

International Civil Society Consortium for Public Deliberation (ICSC PD)—Implemented a new website using Wordpress and a custom-designed theme. Features include a media gallery, public calendar, and various user discussion forums.

Andy24—Implemented a new website using the Movable Type content management system. Wrote a custom PHP theme.

Rescue Dogarama—Created and hosted a dog rescue and adoption drive single page website.
